Presentations and discussions about MBT and Software Product Lines at TAV35 and TOOP/MBT

TAV35 is the annual workshop on software testing organized by the group “Test, Analysis and Verification (TAV)” of the German Informatics Society (Gesellschaft für Informatik e.V. (GI)). The programme contains many talks related to MBT, from both industry and academia:

  • Automatisierte Erzeugung und Ausführung von Szenarien für den Test eines kamerabasierten Fahrerassistenzsystems, by Jörg Reiner (Berner & Mattner Systemtechnik GmbH)
  • Automatische Verlinkung von Testfällen und Anforderungen – Testplangesteuerte Filterung, by Thomas Noack (TU Berlin, Daimler Center for Automotive IT Innovations)
  • Tool generated dynamic test case data for certification purposes? by Ronal Heimberg (QA Systems GmbH)
  • Modellbasiertes Testen auf Basis ereignisgesteuerter Prozessketten (EPKs), by Stephan Bießmann (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology)

Furthermore, the group TOOP/MBT will meet on the second day, under the theme “Variantenreichtum und Automatisches Testdesign – Wie passt das zusammen?“. After the following two talks

  • Herausforderungen beim Testen variantenreicher Systeme in der Praxis, by Danilo Beuche (pure:systems GmbH)
  • Modellbasiertes Testen von Produktlinien, by Georgi Markov (Siemens AG)

there will be a discussion about the industrial and academic work on MBT for Software Product Lines.
